Lessons Learned in Toddlerhood

Don’t contact the school the night before saying the 2-year-old will be absent from an illness. Chances are, by morning everything looks a-ok. Toddlers bounce back fast!

Glad he feels better, but now I’m sad that he won’t get to hang out with his classmates, and mama won’t get to hang out with friends for crepes. C’est la vie.

Oh, no! We missed you yesterday. We had lunch, but saved the creperie for you! I think this means we need to eat twice as many crepes next time we meet. Dessert crepes all around! :)
